Feltonbury 2018 is on! Saturday 23rd June 2018 

It's confirmed, 'Glastonbury' has 'rolled over' – there is no competition this year!! The 'new kid' on ‘The Plot’ has beaten them off!! Perhaps Eric will consider joining his ‘The Clap-Tones’ colleagues rather than ‘wading through acres of Somerset mud’.

The date has been subject to negotiations, contracts, billing, headlining, catering and 'green rooms' and not forgetting the availability of the Bomb Disposal Squad and Emergency Services (who we co-opted into the programme last year following the discovery of a WW2 grenade directly adjacent to the 'Red Obelisk Stage!!!) 

As in previous years there are several venues:

• The Bridge
• Northumberland Arms Car Park
• Felton Village Hall
• Gallery 45 (Indoors)
• Gallery 45 Courtyard
• The Old Bank
• The Plot (the Community Allotment space) in a 'bell-tent venue'

Details of performers and artists will be posted in due course but we already know that established music favourites will return with new performers being 'lined up'. Side by side with the music venues is an Arts Trail which, together with the addition of an historic village walking-trail (which can operate a bit like a ‘walking bus’ with a timetable), will allow us to grow the event slightly. The hugely successful 'Stag Head' Beer Tent will be repeated including minor amendments which will ensure that musical performances get a ‘fair hearing’.

Pavement-cracking weather has already been ordered and will be delivered on time on Saturday 23rd June 2018. Any performers or artists are more than welcome to join us (keeping our ‘strapline’ to the fore)
